.mil TLD audit hub
United States military TLD — restricted to US Department of Defense and partner organizations.
The .mil TLD is administered by the US Department of Defense Network Information Center and is strictly restricted to DoD and DoD-affiliated entities. Registration is not generally available; it is granted by DoD process to specific commands, agencies and contractor programs as needed. The namespace operates under DoD security standards which exceed the public-internet baseline — explicit attestation, authentication and audit requirements apply. There are far fewer .mil registrations than .gov or .edu, and many .mil sites are not publicly reachable at all (intranet-only). For the public-facing subset, SEO and email deliverability scoring is broadly aligned with .gov: high authority signal, strong authentication, well-configured email. We rarely audit .mil sites in practice because most are intentionally low-visibility, but where we do, accessibility and JSON-LD structured-data compliance are usually strong.
